New trends seen at India Fashion Week
The fashion shows that took place at the recently concluded India Fashion Week have presented new trends that are quickly seen by some of the local fashion designers which may be included soon in their fashion lines.
Industry insiders commented that the India Fashion Week was a huge success considering that there were more participants than in the previous years and the designs showed promise that the industry is still flourishing as ever, and is proving one of the strongest in Asia.
The organizers also made sure that the designs of the clothes and swimsuits were the most talked about issue during the event rather than the celebrities gracing the event. This is in a bid to push the creativity of the fashion designers and efforts made to promote green fashion as well.
Green fashion is a bid of the event in the usage of environment-friendly material in the creation of dresses. The event also served to help promote India as an exciting holiday destination, with a huge array of cultural treats and wide variety of landscapes and terrains to explore.
In the grand finale of the Fashion Week, actress Shilpa Shetty graced the event to promote one of the designs by her good friend.
