Germanys holiday prices down this year
If you are planning to take a holiday abroad, then Germany might be the best option.
According to reports, German holiday tour operators are now charging about five to eight percent less for holidays this year in a bid to lure more customers.
DRV President Klaus Laepple said during the ITB travel fair on Wednesday that operators are coming up with better deals without raising their rates.
Laepple added that the revenues are expected to be better than the ones earned last year.
Thomas Cook, Europe’s second biggest tour operator, stated that its German branches are planning to slash down prices for this summer by five percent. Another tour operator Rewe aims for six percent price cuts.
Last year, German tour operators generated $28 billion in sales last year which was about four percent lesser than a year before.
