A survey called Cruise Report 2010 has been released by Carnival UK this week. According to the survey, the cruise holidays industry is expected to grow in the United Kingdom in the next few years. This would also mean that the industry itself with double in size.

The Cruise Report 2010 also revealed that more people are now willing to save up by reducing their daily expenditures in order to avail of cruise holidays at an appropriate time. The report suggested that while they are doing that, consumers are checking out sites for the best deals. Even if the deals they currently see fit their budget, customers tend to search for more.

Carnival UK Chief Executive Officer Mickey Arison said that the trend in the UK is similar to what’s happening in the United States. The number of cruises will change over time because of more quality ships being constructed that offers attractive facilities such as bigger pools, more bars and others.
